Our 5-Day Journey
Every day of Island Adventure with Jesus focuses on a different part of the Christian journey. Students will learn through scripture, discussion, games, crafts, prayer, and group activities.
Day 1: Foundation of Faith
Theme: God Made Me with Purpose
Scriptures: Psalm 139:14 and Genesis 12:1
Students begin the week by learning that they are wonderfully made by God. They will explore identity, belonging, and the truth that God has a purpose for every life.
Day 2: Walking with Jesus
Theme: Values, Courage, and Leadership
Scriptures: Matthew 5:14-16 and Exodus 14:14
Students learn what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. Through worship, lessons, and team activities, they will talk about courage, character, and being a light to others.
Day 3: Planting Seeds
Theme: Stewardship and Financial Wisdom
Scriptures: Matthew 25:14-30 and 1 Samuel 17:45
Students learn that what God gives us should be used wisely. Activities may include simple stewardship lessons, creativity, planning, responsibility, and using gifts for good.
Day 4: Serving Others
Theme: Community and Calling
Scriptures: Mark 10:45 and Matthew 4:19
Students explore how Jesus calls us to serve. They will think about ways to help their families, church, school, and wider community.
Day 5: Launch Your Light
Theme: Celebration and Commissioning
Scriptures: Jeremiah 29:11 and Matthew 28:19
Students close the week by celebrating what they have learned and being commissioned to live boldly for Jesus.
